Dallas

An hour and a half until boarding!!! Crazy. This may seem like a long time to you, but when you have been in the DFW USO for five and a half hours already, it seems much shorter. Can't really complain, though, the USO is really nice... I have my own little table with a power outlet to charge my computer and my phone, plus free lunch, snacks and diet soda... yep, I'm fairly happy.

The car was accepted at the shipping center with no problems this morning... thanks to God, as well as to the many people who let me borrow a car or gave me a ride over the last week in Shreveport while it had multiple problems fixed. I was sad at first that Monday didn't even feel like my last day at work, I was so stressed about the car situation that I didn't get to spend much time talking to people or saying quality goodbyes. But thinking about it on the drive here last night, I really did have a great last week at the 26th. We did a long run at PT, we played Barnhart Ball (ultimate football), I went to lunch a few times with friends, I went camping in Arkansas with all the officers, I saw two movies with friends... so I'm happy I got to do all those things. :)

Under an hour til boarding now, so maybe I'll start packing up the computer and head to my gate. Not sure when I'll be able to post again, but I can guarantee it will be more exciting... and maybe have a few pictures?
